Greg--I don't have a clue what the 'E' suffix designates, but I do know that the most reliable method to estimate your CR without pulling the head is to measure its thickness between the top and bottom flanges. If it's close to 3.550 inches, you've got a 7.75:1 CR engine. If you measure around 3.480 inches, you're up to 8.5:1 CR. This assumes standard piston bores. Rick O. 72 TR6 |
