Hi all, I have about 5 spots to weld on my TR6.
1) Patch the spots on my outer sills where the scuttle drain
poked a rust hole through (2"x2" patch, no other damage)
2) Possibly patch the top of my Bposts
3) Patch the base of my Aposts (same as item 1)
4) Beef up my differential mount and front wishbone mounts
Nothing very major so I don't want to break the bank on a
welder. Will a 100amp, 115V 1/4" MIG setup (gas) do it? I
*think* so but am looking for the voice of TR6 experience on
this one. My next step up is a 5/16" capable Lincoln 3200HD
but thats pretty pricey for the usage I have in mind.
