Aaron,
My wife purchased a 13" Wood Rimmed Mountney steering wheel from Vicky Brit
about 3yrs ago for about $170 and it included the adapter hub. Now pricing is
about $230 from Vicky Brit. I finally installed it this past year. I found the
hub to be not so great in quality as the teeth in the center were a bit
trashy. The over all taper of the mounting hole was larger as well which meant
I
had to fashion some thick washers so the nut would tighten down on the hub and
not the shaft to prevent wobble of the wheel. (Yes, my steering column bushes
need replaced but that is another project down the road.) You need to make
sure the washers clear the springed horn contact rod as well. That brings me
to
the horn push button in which the contact that was attached did not line up
with the horn contact in the hub. It was too short. I drilled the rivet,
removed
the factory contact, and fashioned another piece of metal to serve as a
contact and used an aluminum pop rivet to secure. Works good now. I do get a
little
bit of rub squeek from the hub to the steering column when turning the wheel
sometimes. I think that is due more to the column bushes being worn than
anything.

Vicky Brit included an MGB sticker for the horn push so I left the "M" in
place. I would guess they can provide a Triumph sticker if you request it as I
have seen these on other Mountney steering wheels.

The 13" does provide a bit more leg room and since the wheel is slightly
(maybe 1") dished towards the driver the wheel is a bit closer as well. I have
seen some of these same wheels on cars at the BMCNO show in New Orleans the
past
March and some of them were quite faded to a much lighter orange than mine
currently is. I suspect mine will fade as well over the years. The thick wood
rim is notched on the rear for finger grip and some of these grooves are not so
well sanded. I would have liked to have it more smoothly rounded to the hand
before the stain and gloss coat were applied. Over all I am happy with it and
it is something I can say that my wife got for me. I will keep her.

Weather has been great down here in south LA. I know you are dying for the
weather to break up there in Topsham!
