Hi,

Another trick the old guys use is to toss the hub into a bucket of
kerosene for a few days or a week. The solvent will seep into every
nook/cranny and help lube things for disassembly.

There's a couple of drawbacks to this method. Once employed, you MUST
complete the disassembly because the kerosene will destroy whatever grease
was left on the bearings. The other drawback is that you are left with a
bucket full of toxic waste...

But it does seem to help on the really stubborn ones!
