Harry,

Ye$, there are bigger piston$.
The bigge$t I have ever used wa$ a Harley David$on 3" pi$ton. I don't
remember the specifics of the changes we had to make to the pistons
machine wise. It was about 25 years ago. The car is still running today
although I can't tell you where.

Also if you have your motor bored you need to have a torque plate
installed while boring and honing. I believe JK Jackson at EAS in
Tallahassee has them.

If you want to go all out there are guys in the mother land that bore
and stroke theirs out to 3 litres!

My engine is at a machine shop here in Birmingham and I need to find
out the
recommended clearance for pistons? Also is it possible to find pistons
that
are 60 over?

thank You
