After fighting my alt belt once, I tie-wrapped a spare belt to the crosstube when I had it removed to install my electric fan. Half the belt is secured below the tube so that it will slip on the crank pulley with no fuss. Will make for a short road side repair when the in-service belt breaks. Rick O. '72 TR6 |
