Bill, The short answer is no. Taking of the adjuster is pretty straight forward. I had good luck removing one of mine and working it using liberal amounts of PB Blaster to free it up. The other on the nut holding the adjuster on was frozen solid and no amount of care could save the bolt and it snapped off. The good news is that these are relatively inexpensive.
