Don The only theory that I have heard is that the off-set of the steel wheel is a contributing factor to vibration problems. By the way I happen to own a tire company and did my own mounting and balancing. I really liked the look of the steel wheels and had mine powder-coated but alas the shake made driving long distance very tiring. Alloys did the trick. Mike C |
