I have a bare TR6 frame ready for restoration. But the quotes I've been
getting just for sandblasting and coating (unknown coating technology, but
probably not powder coat) have been $1,500. This doesn't include any welding
at all. I live in the northeast.
The response from one supplier has been, "Well you are a Triumph owner so
you must be on the cheap. It's your MO."
Given the the recent prices for AH of over $50K, it looks like us little
guys are out of our leagues.
Any suggestions? BTW, any recommendation for a company out of Cranston, RI,
I will ignore.
