"Even that bolt (that holds the tube to the reservor ) is difficult to
unscrew (not enough area to turn a wrench)."
Carl,
I assume you already tried to disconnect the junction of the tube to the
flexible tube leading to the slave cylinder. If that did not help, you may want
to
disconnect the clutch master cylinder from the fire wall as it is only a
couple of bolts. Remember to disconnect the clevis pin from the pedal as well
so
you can pull it out. Once you pull it away from the fire wall you will have a
bit more room to get a wrench on the tube fitting to the clutch master
cylinder. You will likely have to disconnect the hold down tab if your tube
even still
has one down near the brass PDVA for the brakes. When I replaced my tubing
earlier this year I had to rebend the "prebent" stainless steel clutch hose
from
TRF. It was close but did not align correctly. I ended up tightening the tube
to the master cylinder in the correct alignment before I mounted the master
cylinder to the fire wall due to the limited clearence. Get a 1/4" tube bender
from a local parts store before trying to make any accurate bends in a tube!
Good Luck!
