Robert
You must have been reading my mind. I found after a long time the
simplest way to remove the filter and can is to attack it from the
bottom. If you loosen the clutch cylinder you can drop the entire
assembly out. It isn't clean but it works. Also I found the "ratchet"
style boxed end wrench works great for taking the bolt off the engine.
After this ordeal. Is it worth changing to a spinoff.
I just bought this TR250. The oil was changed ten years ago. Are
there any suggestions for flushing the engine. Should I just use a good
detergent oil and change it after five hundred miles? What do you think
of engine cleaners.
Thanks
Ron
