Thanks to all who replied to my question concerning which way the spare tire
should face. The experts in the group, and the consensus as well, was that the
red-line, or front of the tire, should face down in the well to allow the hold
down hook/bolt to be of sufficient length to grasp the ring on the spare tire
wheel well.
As always, the group's collective wisdom on just about any question (dumb ones
included) is amazing and much appreciated.
...Now if someone could just figure out why Joe Davis' care stinks!!
