    Folks:

Well, here is Nelson's reply on the tech content. Sad.

Vance,

Sorry for the late response, was out of town.

My problem is exposure to nuisance lawsuits. While I expect I could
win any litigation, the expense of a defense would likely to be over
$10K. My liability insurance has an $100k deductible so I'd be stuck
with covering the defense. I've authored many other articles to a
different audience. Taken together, the exposure is more than I'm
comfortable with. Since my interests are now in the other area I
decided to pull the TR stuff. I still have the info and will make it
available as soon as the ordinary citizen gets some protection from
nuisance suites. However, I don't expect to see that in my lifetime.

Nelson

            Nelson:

As someone who has used and much appreciated your
technical articles on the Buckeye web site, I was appalled to learn that
you have removed the content out of liability concerns, and perhaps
because of lingering support requirements.
Is there any way you would reconsider this decision? I
have a small web site that I would be willing to host the content on,
and I would be willing to provide all the support (including answering
emails). If you are concerned about liabilities, we could excise any
reference to you (seems like a shame not to get credit for the work
though) and direct any questions to me.
Given the limited support available for these vehicles,
your write-ups have been invaluable and are widely cited on the 6-pack
mailing list.

Please consider my offer, or make a proposal so we can
keep the content alive. You have helped many owners and I just hate to
see your hard work disappear.

                Thanks,

                Vance Navarrette
                TR6 enthusiast
