I have recently become involved (addicted??) with quarter midget racing with
my son. Because of this I am considering discontinuing the frame off
restoration of my 73 French Blue TR6 and wanted to offer my project to the list
to help
me decide whether to sell off/ part out the project or put it on the
backburner until we get out of racing. I have the following to offer:
1. Professionally rebuilt trans & J type overdrive
2. Professionally rebuilt engine bored .020 over, 9.6:1 compression, GP2
cam, Goodparts Roller Rockers, line bored for cam bearings, Goodparts triple
ZS
carb manifold & linkage, TRF stainless header
3. Rustfree frame that has been sandblasted & painted with Eastwood chassis
black. Includes Goodparts uprated springs & TRF Nylon bushings, new ball
joints, tie rod ends, etc. Frame has been reinforced at historical weak points
in
front end, rear diff. & rear outriggers.
4. Rustfree body with new professionally installed floor pans. Has poor
paint job & has been sitting at body shop for over one year. Was supposed to
be
completely stripped & repainted by X-mas 2003. Guess I picked the wrong shop.
Floor pans installed by local high restoration shop. Body needs minor
repairs to be perfect... parking lot dings etc... nothing major.
I was well on my way to $20,000 project & have not cut any corners. I am
willing to entertain reasonable offers & content to store project until time
allows me to complete. I'm not going to give this away so don't waste either
of
our times with unreasonable offers. Please contact me off list with any
