Adam,
I have found my TR6 to be very reliable. I do not drive it for extended
periods, and when I get ready to drive it, I simply prime the fuel pump, top
off
the oil in the carbs and go. The car is completely stock with the exception of
Crane electronic ignition. It has never let me on the road. I have replaced
the alternator and water pump, as well as regular routine maintenance as
needed. Regular oil changes and keep all fluids checked. I am not a fan of
the
philosophy that if it isn't broken, fix it until it is however. I hope that
you find your Triumph ownership experience to be as rewarding as mine has been.
