Hadrian---The boot, or gaiter, and the rack mounting point should be clean of any grease before you install it. The wire tie should then hold it. Be sure to turn the wheel to full lock before securing the clamp bolt at the tie rod, so you don't inadvertently pull it loose, or tear the gaiter when making sharp turns. Dick |
