Bob brings up 2 very relevant points: don't accept inferior parts quality and DOT 5 isn't for everyone. I chose silicone because it is paint friendly and I don't autocross or otherwise work the calipers to the point that fluid vaporization (and subsequent brake loss) is an issue. There are safety advantages to DOT 4 that must not be overlooked. Thanks Bob. Rick Or.  |
