Chuck--I really appreciate my MityVac as it does double duty as a vacuum gauge for evaluating the state of engine tune. I solved all problems with air leakage by wrapping the bleeder screw threads with teflon tape. You will not be disappointed doing the same. You can make your own pressure bleeder if you have a spare MC cap and compressor, but then you have to keep unscrewing the thing to refill the MC reservoir during the bleed. Take your pick.
