Jim---Plasticote makes a decent engine spray paint. Good up to 500 deg. I did my valve cover several years ago and it's held up well. I used the Satin finish. Several colors were available back then. I don't even think a primer was required, but I do recall using a light coat of their Gray, after the usual cleaning with mineral spirits. I got it at the local Pep Boys. Dick |
