The simplest & least expensive way to upgrade your headlights is to
switch to a H6024 sealed beam. This is a Halogen 7" replacement unit
that plugs right in and gives up to 50% more light. No expensive
conversions, special replacement bulbs and they're readily accessible at
most parts stores. I swapped out my old headlights a couple of years ago
and they have been great. Even the TR's limited electrical system
produces a bright white light. A GM 90 Amp alternator made things even
better.
