Sam is trying to overcome some insurmountable odds. He wrecked the car
just before the runoffs and had to rebuild the car (crushed frame).
On Wednesday he broke a piston so was qualifying on 5 cylinders.
I haven't heard about Thursday yet.
Look for him to move up during the race if he doesn't get into the usual
turn one may lay.
He has JK Jackson and David Wingett helping him so he is in good hands.
