Jerry---Time to chase this down into one of the two reasons . Spark or
fuel? The next time this engine shuts down, immediately take off the
rubber hose connection at the front carburetor. Then either crank the
engine with the starter, or operate the lever under the fuel pump. Gas
should rush out of the open line.(Be ready to contain it) There could be
more sinister forces at work here, but chances are good that the fuel
filter is too restrictive.
