I just purchased a very nice '73 TR6 and about the only thing that does not
work is the back up lights. I have power on both sides of the fuse box but no
power at the sockets. Under the car I can see two wires with shrouded female
connectors hanging down from the back up light switch area. One is hot with the
key on wether or not it is in reverse. The other is cold no matter what
position the key or shift lever is in. Any Ideas? There is a newer fiber
cover
over the transmission and the car has gone through a major rebuild with
excellent workmanship throughout. Is there any way to avoid pulling the seats
and
transmission tunnel? Please respond directly to my email address since AOL has
seen fit to block the list from my inbox. If they only could do the same
for all those offers for Viagra! Thanks, Joe in NH (joe18d@aol.com)
