Thanks for the response Aaron. I assumed (before your email) that it was the
float valve sticking so I popped off the base, cleaned up the pin valve and
screen (it was a little sticky, but only at the gas "off" position), cleaned
it all up and reassembled. I filled the bowl with gas prior to reassembly to
see if the bowl plug was leaking and it seemed fine. Just tried her again
and gas is again flowing out of the fitting for the charcoal canister. Sad
part is -it started and sounded sooo nice for the ten seconds I let it run
(while pumping gas into a pail (I got smart and ran a hose from the fitting
to a pail "just in case")..
Poor mice though, apparently my exhaust system had become a home and she
blew about a 1/2 5 gallon bucket of chewed up towel (wondered where that
went!) out the back!
