Actually I found that mine was a combination of a bad distributor cap and
jets set to high

There have been quite a few posts regarding rough running and idle lately.
Having had the same symptoms with my TR6 a short time ago I'm beginning to
wonder if there's a bad batch of distributor rotors out there.
As a lot of folks have done I looked at fuel delivery, distributor bushings,
etc. until I replaced a brand new rotor with another brand new rotor.
(Lucas brand) I'm not even sure where I bought the bad unit but the new
replacement did the trick. FWIW - Ya'll might want to check under your
distributor cap if you're stumped with rough running.
