I had a good experience with this exact setup from BPNW. Ran it for two years on the track at lots of high RPMS. Took it out last fall to get a hotter cam. Cam and tappets were all good. Broke the cam in with Crane cam lube for 20 minutes at 2000 RPM. Point is, sometimes parts are defective, but, hopefully, most of the time they are no.
