Were the original cam locking tabs steel? Also were there things you bent over
at the end to hold the nuts in place?
I bought on from an unnamed source, i guess it's a soft aluminum, had to take
it back off and it was flat as a pancake and distorted after torquing to the 24
to 30#'s.
Also put on a new crank gear from a 2nd source, the original gears teeth were
noticeably thicker than the replacement and not as pointy. Might just reuse the
old one with the fatter teeth since i have to wait for a replacement locking
tab anyway?
