Bruce---First, I must disqualify myself as a cam expert, so if anyone
disagrees with my reply, I will regard it as another lesson learned.

Missing from your numbers is the valve overlap. I could only surmise
that it is in the neighborhood of 31/71, 71/31 and the duration is the
280 number. When cam grinders measure their duration after .050 of lift
it is usually a pretty serious cam. More "streetable" cams are usually
taken from .020 lift, or even less. Note that a stock grind cam with a
typical 256 deg. duration is taken after .005 ramp lift.

Cam grinders are a curious lot. Much seems to be secretive, at least to
a layman. Still, if they say this cam starts to come in at 2700 rpm
that isn't too low, and the benefits would probably extend to the 6500
mark. Your having some added compression to work with is a plus.
You can expect a noticeable engine lope at idle, even with the 105 lobe
separation. If they say otherwise, get it in writing!
