Jim---I use the 3-M contact cement that comes in the aerosol can. This stuff is slow taking a set, giving one time to make some final adjustments. Just a few squirts about a foot apart was all. The crashpad is held firm with the bolts that go thru and do the clamping. There is some silicone to seal the frame to the cowl. Here I used the weatherstripping type that must be "cleaned up" with paint thinner. Clear in color and stinky to use, but keeps the water out! Dick |
