Sometime in the distant past, a PO removed the ballast resistor wire and
bypassed it. Can I now use a coil from an earlier TR6/250 that didn't have
the ballast resistor?
I read somewhere that I should read about 3 ohms across the primary on the
coil. I assume the primary windings are the low voltage side. I register 0
ohms on my coil, and a new coil that I have for a pre-ballasted TR6 measures
0 ohms also. Am I doing something wrong, or is my info incorrect?
