I am not sure who sent in the message concerning the problem removing the
breakline. However, here is my two cents worth.
To break loose my brake lines, I used a pair of vice grips. The particular
ones are shown at the attached Harbor Freight page. I used the "V" grips on
the left. You can grip the nut firmly, without damaging it. I would
recommend sraying on some bolt release on prior to trying to break the nut
loose.
I have a Parts car I am tearing dowm and the break line going right rear was
very tight. I got the wrench, gripped the nut, and proceeded to dremove the
fitting. I twisted the fitting out and the tubing was frozen inside of the
fitting. So I twisted the tubing off, without damaging the nut!
