I just installed a new MC and had the same question. I
took the reservoir off and cleaned it with Simple
Green Automotive Cleaner then sloshed around some
denatured alcohol inside it. Worked great. I put the
reservoir back on and bench bled the cylinder a few
times with Castrol GT LMA, letting it sit for a couple
days in between. However, I doubt that using silicon
brake fluid would dissolve the oil the way the "old
school" brake fluid did.
