I have the Air Filter housing with the two tubes for air intake. Another
part that could help as a bracket to help hold two flex hoses in place would
be an exhaust gasket that is made to go in between the head exhaust manifold
and the exhaust pipe on a later twin pipe version. Moss part number 697-040.
The hole is an exact fit on an air intake tube. 1 5/8 ". Use a corrugated
flex hose the same as the vent system, only in smaller diameter. If you have
a ABS plastic or fiber board air duct , cut out the holes, using the exhaust
gasket as a template and then use the gasket as a re enforcing board. Thread
the flex hoses through first. then slide the other ends over the air
intakes. Attach exhaust gasket with nuts and bolts, perhaps even some
washers.Finish with either black electrical ties or hose clamps. Those
English style ones would look periodic.
Pretty cool. Now back to watching all this rain come down.
