Sounds like you're building a poor-man's cold-air intake system. The systems
I've seen for sale are very pricey largely due to the airbox (step in here if
you'd like Jim!) Is what you're building a suitable replacement? What are
you using for an airbox?
Thanks,
Dwayne

Subject: Locating 3.5" flexible hose for intake
Six Packers,
I'm trying to locate a 3.5" black wire reinforced flexible hose for
the
carburetor intake to relocate the air filter to the radiator shroud. I
want
something more substantial than the clothes dryer vent type. I'm not
sure
where to look for this and any help would be greatly appreciated.
