Joe---Welding the shaft and fork together certainly takes care of the sheared pin syndrome, doesn't it?! A less drastic solution might be double pinning the fork to the shaft. At least this way both the original and second "pin" drilled thru the fork could later be removed without destroying the shaft. This has been discussed before, so I will only add that any second pinning should be tight, so that it shares the full load when disengaging the clutch. Dick |
