Listers,
I need some help from the collective wisdom of the list. My friend and I have
been trying to get a new set of SU carbs (Just bought directly from the Co. in
England) to work on his car. They just won't work properly at idle. They work
fine with the choke partially open and work fine without the choke at over 2000
RPM. Originally we thought something else may have been wrong with his car but
I put them on my car and they did the same thing. The only thing I can think
of is that the Jets may not be the right ones for the TR 6. Someone said that
these new carbs may have been jetted for the MGB. Anyone have any ideas or
know what the proper number would be for the jets that should be used on a TR 6?
