Listers,
I ordered a set of joints from Moss only to find later from one of our
expert machanics who has had experience with them that they are NOT to
be trusted . . . the U joints that is. Anybody want to put in their 2
cents?
Al Graffam CT.

I never like it when someone pushing a particular product gives a vague
reason to not use another. It would have been better had he said "they
don't fit", or "they don't last". (Such as what many of us have found
when using some of the RHP release bearings over the last decade) To
say he "doesn't trust them" falls a little short.

I don't know what brand Moss sells.
I have used only the U-joint bearings as supplied by TRF. These come in
a box labelled PRECISION universal joint, and the 'joint itself has USA
embossed on it. These were used to replace my original ones, and I have
found (all four) of them to have held up past the 100,000 mile mark.
(Two of my u-joints are still original)

Dick
