RA,II---These filters seem to pass enough fuel when they're brand new. I
really wanted them to work, because I like seeing* fuel in the
lines..and also I think they look better than some nylon or steel
encased filter. In my application, they started choking up after less
than 1,000 miles, as I recall. Each time I would replace the filter
only, as they came three to a pack. I even carried a spare when on long
trips. I still have one of these in the fuel line, but *without a filter
in it. One of the larger, throw-away kind now does the work, placed
before the fuel pump.
It's possible that my original fuel tank, or the (Arco) service station
that I usually trade at, is not the clean as others.
