I have brown colored flotsam suspended in my brake fluid reservoir! I
assume this stuff is moisture that got in the system/fluid somehow. I have
done brakes before and never seen this happen. Could it be something else?
The fluid is otherwise quite clear, the only way I noticed the flotsam was
because I had to open the cap to see if there was fluid in there. Last
month I rebuilt the MC Piston and honed the MC, and bled the brakes using a
new can of Castrol DOT 3 - 4 brake fluid, ensuring I got good clean new
fluid at each bleed nipple.
