Mark and Tommy---Here's one way to get the rubber cones in the right
position after the hood is centered:
Rub a circle of chalk to the underside of the hood pockets. (where the
cones nest)
Lower the hood till this chalk transfers onto the cones. You'll see
either a partial or full circle on the cones, If only a part circle is
made, this will tell you which way to move the cones. Each time you do
the trial, start with the cones wiped clean. When the circle is complete
you should be dead center. Add Vaseline to the cones, if desired.
Proper height adjustment of the cones should put the hood even with the
top of the cowl.
