Thanks for responding. I didn't know there were different jets as well as
different needles. Any idea what springs are used with this setup? Springs
are color coded. The difference is spring rate, which affects how fast the
piston rises when the throttle plate opens up. I've also raed of folks
adjusting this further by shortening the springs by small amounts. Don't
know anybody who has done this, though.

My HS6 carbs (two) are running with BAG jets and .100 needles. These are
the new carbs from Moss Motors. The plastic covers on the bottom of the
carbs are red in color.
