rebuid of carberators

I'm planning on having my spare TR6 carburetors rebuild, well to be more
exacts, I was thinking about just having new Throttle shafts put in and then
rebuild the rest myself.
I'm looking for advise of who may have had this done and by whom and would
they recommend the concern that did that work for them.
Also would I be better off having the whole carburetors rebuild, what are some
of the thoughts
