Hi,
I poked around for some "ET calculators" and ran some numbers...
My race car weighs 2000 pounds per regulations. Plugging in 2000 pounds
and various HP numbers, I came up with these numbers:
Weight Horsepower ET Top Speed
2000 150 14.978 98.695
2000 200 13.608 108.623
2000 300 11.888 124.336
2000 400 10.800 136.867
So, you'd actually need _more_ than 300 HP to get into the 10's. You'd
need more like 400 HP. In other words, forget it! Not gonna happen. Well,
not gonna happen unless you add 2 more cylinders and a _lot_ of cubic
inches.
