I'll be interested in the solution for this one. I have a 73 that does
the same thing intermittently. Although I don't think this has anything
to do with the problem, I also have a battery switch inside the car that
switches the negative side of the battery. In my case, my guess is that
a spring internal to the switch is hanging up for a couple of seconds.
