Kenlowe fan

Hello everybody,
I'm thinking of buying a electronic Kenlowe fan kit for my car. (better
temperature control, and more horsepower for the engine I'm told) Has anybody
experience with the kenlowe kit? Is it easy to install? Or is it better to buy
a used fan from a modern car? In combination with a normal thermo sensor?
Which car has a good fan that's easy to install on the radiator of the TR6? Or
should I stick with the original setup?
