Steve---Laying a 'straight edge' across the front fenders even with the front of the valve cover shows a clearance of 2.5 inches. With the hood down, you'll lose an inch of this, leaving about 1.5 inches of hood clearance at the front/center of the valve cover. If this is too close for comfort, you'll need to install the hood and place something compressible between the two, to get an exact measurement. Dick |
