Listers,
Recently my brakes went out, almost completely, with the rear ones working
just a little under tremendous foot pressure. The rear brakes bled OK, no
bubbles.
The front ones, however, especially the left one, bubbled alot and wouldn't
stop. I also noticed that the little hole you can see in the reservior
feeding the half of the cylinder powering the front brakes bubbled, too.
I disassembles the MC and the seal for the secondary piston was definately
loose, and the seal for the primary piston seemed fairly tight. The tipper
valve seemed OK, though I don't know what it's supposed to be like, anyway.
My question is, do you thing a rebuild (new seals) will fix it, or does it
sound like a lost cause? It's my daily driver, so I have to get it back on
the road pretty quickly.
Thanking you all in advance,
Doug Hofer
