Dave,

My engine compartment is painted the same color as the car...then you get 
into the engine.  The valve cover is chrome, block & head are black.  The 
water hoses were originally yellow & black tiger striped...hard to come by.  
Wiper motor is black.  Hell it's easier just sending a picture...I'll get 
back with ya'
