Evan---The general rule of thumb is the taller the sidewall, the more
compliant the ride. This would mean that the opposite is true for better
handlng, other things being equal. Do you want a cruiser, or a car that
handles crisper? Both have their plus side, and it varies with the road
surface and how much weight you are likely to carry in the car. If you
are also going to keep your original, stock wheels shod with something,
you have the advantage of changing your mind, according to the type of
driving you have planned at the moment.
If it were my car and I had these two rim sizes, I'd put the 205x75-15's
on the stock wheels and the 215x65 on the 16 inchers!
