Last year I installed a J-type OD. Working great. Question, the "play" in the propellor axel, or main drive shaft, whatever, is now very limited. The axel, in the fitted position, is now just 1/5 of an inch (5 mm) from being totally slided in (it used to be much more). I wonder whether this is enough to compensate for the frame bending etc, and does not make that under hard driving it becomes totally "compressed". Any ideas? What play is normal? Pim Pimento 73 |
